A new day to learn
Magician’s Mistake
by Sarah
There was once a magician who was the greatest magician of all. He's not the kind of magician who pulls rabbits out of a hat, or someone who pulls coins out of your ear and whatnot.
He could make things disappear and reappear in mid air! He could turn a rabbit into a cat or a frog or anything, right in front of your eyes!
If you want him to, he can even hypnotize you with a simple card! He's the perfect magician. Well, almost perfect. There was a time when nothing went right with him. His tricks wouldn't work, and he'd have bad luck at some point.
In fact, I remember one time, when I was at the theater, one of his tricks went terribly wrong.
That story went like this.
I got to the theater, and everyone sat down. Then the show started. The magician came out from behind the curtain. He raised both of his hands, and blue lighting shot out from his hands!
He did a few more tricks. One of the tricks was lifting a man into the air, and all his money came out of his pockets. The magician made the guy's money disappear.
After some more tricks, he said for his last trick, he would need a volunteer from the audience. He picked me. I was a little afraid that I might turn invisible or something, but the magician said that he was a professional, and that nothing would go wrong.
In my head I thought, you're not a professional! You've been having bad luck and your tricks have been going wrong! He told me to stand in the middle of the stage and I did.
This time, one of his tricks did go wrong! He tried to make me into a frog and jump around all over the place, but instead, somehow, he gave me his magic powers!!!
So now I'm a magician, but I barely do any tricks. I do make some money off the tricks I do sometimes. I'm a magician forever, and I don't know how to turn back into a regular person. At least not yet.
The End
